In this practice master table xxstp_test and xxstp_test_details as detail table created in Schema of database.<\/p>\n

Right click on\u00a0Model<\/strong>\u00e0 New\u00e0 New Gallery\u00e0\u00a0ADF Business Components\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e0\u00a0Business Components from Tables<\/strong>\u00e0\u00a0Create Database Connection<\/strong>\u00e0<\/strong>\u00a0Enter details<\/strong><\/p>\n

After connect to Scott enter Query and select the tables to create EO.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Shuffle the\u00a0EO<\/strong>\u00a0to the left to create\u00a0VO<\/strong>. Do not select the read only VO. click on the checkbox of\u00a0Application Module\u00a0<\/strong>to create\u00a0AM<\/strong>\u00a0and click \u201cfinish\u201d.<\/p>\n

Right click on package and Click on\u00a0New View Link\u00a0<\/strong>to create a link Between two tables.<\/p>\n

Name the VL as \u201cMasterdetailbyVL\u201d<\/p>\n

Select the source and destination VO attribute that define the View Link.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Click on the checkbox of\u00a0Source Accessor<\/strong>\u00a0in view Link Properties wizard<\/p>\n

Select the AM checkbox with enter the Package and Name as shown.<\/p>\n

Create JSF Page<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Create JSF Page\u00a0<\/strong>wizard type the\u00a0File Name\u00a0<\/strong>as\u00a0MasterdetailbyVL.jspx<\/strong>\u00a0and select as the\u00a0Blank Page<\/strong>. click ok<\/p>\n

From the Data Control drag and drop the XXSTPTestDetails2 to the JSF page editor. In Create Select the\u00a0Master-Detai<\/strong>l\u00e0\u00a0ADF Master Table, Detail Table\u00a0<\/strong>as shown.<\/p>\n

Now Right click the JSF page and select \u201cRun<\/strong>\u201d to run the page in the browser the page behaves as Master-Detail relationship as shown.<\/p>\n

When Master table data changes detail table data also changes as noticed.<\/p>\n
